while i was looking for some Sex Jams / Les Trucs split 7”es (which i didnt find - looks like they are all gone - except for 2 pieces i found. be quick w/ yr order, hehe) i found these two shirts! both are available in small and medium, the feet smelly one is an american apparel shirt, the fettgorgor one a fairtrade thingie. write me if you want one!

you can preorder the Just Friends and Lovers record What, Colour? already! the LP will ship out before its actuall release date. every LP ordered will come w/ a Poster, pre order or not. every pre order holds a special goodie though :)  this is what the poster looks like, made by great artist Theresa Adamski.

oh my. Rainer Krispel. Rainer will be my next partner for the monthly fettkakao DJ club. i know Rainer for a long time already, but no. not from the 80ies, not even the 90ies… i think i first saw him perform w/ Grant in Graz at the Fixe fest (approx. 2000).  Rainer was working at the Chelsea in Vienna and i was in a collective which was setting up shows.. so we got to know each other quite soon. the next thing i know is that Rainer asked me if i wanted to play bass in the follow up project to Grant called Grant Royal. funny side note: i soon found out that he asked Sushilla before me; who couldnt do it.  Rainer was a very helpfull person when i found fettkakao. as soon as Seven Sioux reunited - it was (at least to me) pretty clear that fettkakao will work with them. FKK has released 3 Seven Sioux records, and one Seven Sioux LP in colobaration w/ the Stimmgewitter Augustin. not to leave out History: Rainer was part of the Punk movement in Linz in the 80ies, playing in such Bands as Feuerlöscher, Target Of Demand, Seven Sioux, Schwester; ever since he is involved in various projects, and has recently published his first book: Der Sommer Als Joe Strummer Kam”. please also check out “Es Muss Was Geben” (Book, Movie, LP). i am so looking foreward to play out our loves for dischord, old hardcore-punk, and whatever music we like on may 22nd, 2013 at the Elektro Gönner.

Numavi Records and Fettkakao are sharing a stage at this years Lendwirbel in Graz. it takes place at the Kawango Café, on May 2nd & 3rd. Just Friends and Lovers will present their brand new album What, Colour? for that occasion in their hometown as well. bands performing:  ° Just Friends and Lovers ° Tirana ° RVLTD ° A Thousand Fuegos ° Bad Weed ° Robotra ° Plaided ° Dinosaurs and Polar Bears ° Pasta Shutup ° Nancy Transit ° Jesus Christ Super Distortion ° we will have some special thingies happening there too. y’know spring’s here then already, and graz is the best place in this country to hang out in at that time of the year.

i am super excited. for weeks already, since Toys That Kill - finally - play in vienna. they were on my wishlist for a show in vienna for a long time. and the funny thing is: it took me almost as many years to get into Toys That Kill in the first place. i was a very big F.Y.P fan from the day on i missed their show in vienna, 1997. they were touring w/ their Toilet Kids Bread LP, and as often in those days, people forgot to tell me about F.Y.P’s appearance at the EKH; i simply did not know the show was happening.  both bands - F.Y.P and Toys That Kill - are going to play at the arena, april 22nd and april 23rd. there are even 2 day passes available that are much cheaper (ARENA). the infamous Bad Weed will support the Toys That Kill show, and Pasta Shutup, a freshly found Punk band consisting of members of Plaided, Just Friends and Lovers, Goldsoundz and Killed By 9V Batteries will play before F.Y.P ! oh and if this wasnt pretty special already: F.Y.P have only two confirmed dates in Europe - one of those is vienna. please check out Todd Congelliere’s label R E C E S S  R E C O R D S as well.

here’s the first single - called Sniper - to the upcoming record What, Colour? (fett032) by Just Friends and Lovers. it was recorded by Turbo of Wilhelm Show Me the Major Label at Ladida studio in Graz. the record is coming out Mai 24th, 2013 on fettkakao and will be presented at the Lendwirbel in Graz (Mai 02nd, 2013) and the Fluc in Vienna (May 24th, 2013)
