for the next fettkakao dj club thingie at elektro gönner my guest will be rita. you may know rita from her performance with ana threat, under the moniker rita rumble. but you might as well just know her, because rita has a lot of friends everywhere. she knows all the gossip (i heard) and people by name.  i first met rita… well. i met her pretty early in my teenage years. if i recall it right she came all the way from klagenfurt (austrias south) to hardcore punk shows at the tu-club or ekh in vienna with a friend. but i remember talking to her first when we played with the beat happening cover band in klagenfurt 2003 with valina. i was hungry after the show and rita invited me over to her flat to prepare some spaghetti for me. it was life saving as i had no idea where in klagenfurt i would get vegan food late at night. also. while eating, she and rudi showed me the first gravy train!!!! record, and went to a late night swim at the woerthersee the same night. i really liked my klagenfurt experience that day/night. thanks to rita, rudi and some friends i would be making years later who have been at the show/ late night swim as well. i dont know if we have changed much. of course we did. but we still love hunx, rock and roll and see each other pretty often at shows and parties. i’m glad rita and me are sharing the dj thing together at the elektro gönner, on january 18th, 2012.
